Results for Part I of the University of Maryland High School Mathematics Competition are sent to the administrators at each school. If you are a student, please contact your teacher to ask about the results. If you are a teacher and have not received the results, please contact Dr. Ebrahimian at math-comp@umd.edu as soon as possible.

- A total of 1234 students from 78 schools took the exam.
- The scores range from a low of 12 to a high of 146. The median score is 70/150. The cutoff for invitation to Part II is a score of 88.
- A total of 228 students qualified for Part II.
Part II of the UMD High School Math Competition will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 1:00pm-3:00pm. Part II is only open to those who qualified and will be held at your school. Part II will consist of 5 problems requiring written solutions. Each problem will be worth 30 points. Past contests can be found here.
